Custom Domains

White-label domain mapping, Auto-SSL provisioning, and DNS Management.

Custom Domains allow each Tenant to access their dashboard via their own URL (e.g. admin.sonymusic.com) instead of your generic platform URL. This is a key feature of the "Enterprise" plan.

Setup Instructions for Tenants

  1. Add Domain:

    Tenant enters their desired domain in Settings > Domain.

  2. Configure DNS:

    They must create a CNAME record pointing to our main domain:

    CNAME   dashboard.tenant.com   ->   app.labelstack.com
  3. Verification:

    The system periodically checks DNS propagation. Once verified, the status becomes Active.

SSL & Troubleshooting

Auto-SSL

We use Let's Encrypt / Caddy to automatically provision SSL certificates for every verified custom domain. No manual upload required.

Common Errors

  • Pending Loop: Tenant hasn't added CNAME yet.
  • Invalid: Tenant used A Record instead of CNAME.
  • Not Secure: SSL issuance failed (Check rate limits).
