Subscriptions

Detail view of all Subscriber entities and their current state.

A Subscription links a Tenant to a Plan. It dictates the features the tenant can access and the billing interval (Monthly vs Yearly).

Subscription States

ACTIVE

Payment is current. Tenant has full access.

TRIALING

Free trial period. No payment method required until end date.

PAST_DUE

Latest payment failed. Access may be restricted (Grace Period).

CANCELED

User cancelled manually. Access remains until period end, then revoked.

Admin Actions

Cancel Subscription

Can be done "Immediately" or "At Period End".

  • Immediate: Stops access now. Might require pro-rated refund.
  • At End: Preferred. Let's user finish what they paid for.

Swap Plan

Upgrading or Downgrading a user.

  • Upgrade: Charged difference immediately (Pro-rated).
  • Downgrade: Credit added to balance for next invoice.
